Financial Reporting Accountant - Americas

About the Role

The Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for consolidating weekly and monthly Americas financial and commercial reporting, reviewing the accuracy and completeness of financial and commercial reporting, and ensuring deadlines for reporting to local and divisional management and the corporate accounting reporting system.

What You’ll Do

  • Review for accuracy and completeness of daily weekly and monthly reports.
  • Submit reporting into corporate systems and to local and divisional management by deadlines, weekly and monthly.
  • Develop systems and processes to align with existing reports and new reporting requirements.
  • Perform and coordinate reconciliations.
  • Review and validate daily financial and commercial reporting.
  • Commercial analytics.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

  • Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environment, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2-5 experience in a similar role
  • Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Experience mapping requirements to a solution that meets the requirements.
  • Technical Acumen - Familiarity with Software systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with internal team and clients.
  • Comfortable to communicate effectively with clients in case any clarification is required.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and systems.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving skills.
  • Ability and comfort working with data, data structures and data analysis.
