About the Role

The Senior Planner is responsible for managing the production plan, related work orders, and capacity management for one or more departments of Tate’s Red Lion facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyzes project information in order to create more efficient planning.
  • Works closely with Customer Care, Project Management, Shipping and other planners to ensure on time delivery is maintained.
  • Collaborates with procurement to ensure material is available as needed for production and escalates as necessary.
  • Responds to demand for finished goods and subassemblies for internal and external customers.
  • Proactively follows up on open orders to secure the best possible delivery dates and implements solutions for challenges they may encounter.
  • Consistently evaluates incoming supply performance identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies while collaborating with the responsible Buyer(s) on implementation.
  • Engages with other departments to resolve issues and discrepancies regarding delivery dates, quantities, quality, and prioritization.
  • Effectively collaborates with other Tate manufacturing facilities to ensure material replenishment and inventory plans are performing as required.

Additional Expectation

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in production/supply planning, material control, and related fields as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related business field preferred (or 5+ years’ Supply Chain experience).
  • Must have experience with managing MRP/ERP system signals/exceptions and data maintenance.
  • Customer-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to analyze data to find trends, root causes, and related corrective action as required.
  • Must be proficient with, and use of, Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, Word, Teams).
